First, on February 2, 2025, in the 93 km road cycling race held on the Lefkosa-Argonya-Lefkosa route, Şevket Türel, racing under the sponsorship of our university, placed 3rd in the Master1 category, achieving a remarkable success. In this race, where participant competed on a challenging course requiring speed and endurance, our cyclist earned this prestigious position, securing a significant place in the competition.
Then, on February 16, 2025, in the time-trial cycling race held between Yılmazköy and Mor Çember (Zefir Çemberi), Şevket Türel once again showed his exceptional performance, receiving the 1st place in his age category and 2nd place overall. In this race, where individual times were closely monitored and awards were given for both age categories and overall rankings, our cyclist outperformed his competitors and finished with a strong result.
