  • World Peace University-Nicosia Organized an Educational Event for High School Students on the Topic: “Does Pain That Doesn’t Kill Make Us Stronger? A Scientific Perspective”

World Peace University has taken an important step in helping high school students develop their perspectives on negative life events and raise awareness about the potential positive effects of these events, rather than just focusing on their negative impacts. In this regard, the university organized an educational event titled “Does Pain That Doesn’t Kill Make Us Stronger? A Scientific Perspective”, aiming to provide students with a scientific outlook.

The training focused on the idea that challenges and pain encountered in life are not merely obstacles, but also opportunities that can contribute to an individual’s psychological and emotional development. Through a presentation and interactive discussions led by Dr. Ayşe Aydındoğmuş, participants had the opportunity to gain insights into the process of personality formation and development, understand the concept of post-traumatic growth, learn how negative experiences can transform into empowering forces, and explore the scientific foundations of emotional resilience.

Our university will continue to organize educational programs that strengthen the psychological and emotional well-being of young individuals and add value to their lives. This event for high school students highlights the importance of adopting a scientific perspective and fostering healthy mental development.

We believe that such events will make significant contributions to our students’ academic and personal growth, and we extend our thanks to all participants.
